Berlin Conference on Waste Management & Energy – A Step Toward a Sustainable Circular Economy!

: Berlin Conference on Waste Management & Energy – a step toward a sustainable circular economy! January is ending for us at ARCUS Greencycling Technologies: Last week, we took part in the Berlin Conference on Waste Management & Energy – a platform for exciting discussions on , infrastructure for CO₂ transport, and regulatory challenges in the #chemical recycling.
🎉 A highlight was the session on recycling, where we had the opportunity to present our facility and technologies alongside Quantafuel and CARBOLIQ. The panel discussion on the state of the art, economic viability, and how this approach differs from waste incineration was particularly valuable.

👉Our key finding: The industry is evolving, but uncertainties persist due to unclear regulatory guidelines.
🚀: That’s why we’re appealing to policymakers and industry: We need a clear policy framework! We’re ready to move forward—but without regulatory certainty, no one will take the decisive step.
: What else is on our minds? In waste management as a whole, we should focus more on existing synergies between mechanical and chemical recycling, as well as ! These must be leveraged more intensively to build high-performance —this way, we can not only exploit technical synergies but also evolve from being “waste disposers” to becoming the “heart of the circular economy.”
Conclusion🔍: Overall, we feel that chemical recycling is gaining increasing recognition within the industry. What do you think? A big thank you to vivis – Thomé-Kozmiensky Verlag GmbH for organizing this important event, and to our CTO Marco Tomasi Morgano for participating!
