♻️ Flexible plastic packaging is one of the biggest challenges on the path to a truly circular economy. This is exactly where the new InFACT project comes in—and we’re excited to be part of this strong partnership!

🤝 Together with 15 other companies, research institutions, and organizations across the entire value chain, we are working to return flexible plastic packaging made from household waste back into the cycle—from collection and sorting all the way to the production of new packaging.

🚀 For ARCUS, this means we’re contributing our chemical recycling technology to the project. Using our process, we convert mixed and hard-to-recycle plastic waste into high-quality pyrolysis oil, thereby creating a sustainable alternative to fossil-based raw materials.

🌍 InFACT’s goal is clear: to pave the way for a functional and economically viable circular economy solution for flexible packaging and to play an active role in shaping the requirements of the new European Packaging Regulation (PPWR).

💡 Challenges like these can only be solved by working together. That’s why we’re especially looking forward to collaborating with our many strong partners from industry, research, and recycling, who are contributing their expertise to this forward-looking project.
